- We extend sympathy to the Neal Smith and family since the passing of Neal’s sister, Virginia McAdams. Arrangements are incomplete at this time. We also extend sympathy to Joan and Carolyn Swift since the passing of their sister Kathleen Cook. The funeral is this Saturday at the Dyersburg Funeral Home at 2:00 PM. Visitation is from noon – 2:00 PM before the funeral.
- Marj Mitchell has a biopsy tomorrow, Bobby Bush is now at home, and Maurene McKnight is at West TN Transitional Care, room B209.
- There will be Bible classes for men and women this Wednesday at 10:00 AM.
- This Wednesday at 5:45 PM, Daniel Puckett, Garrett Hixson, Trent Thomas, three of our university freshmen, will be speaking on Psalm 119.
- We are having a Family Meal this Wednesday at 5:00 PM. The menu is chicken fingers, mac and cheese, and Donna Witten’s homemade rolls! Everyone enjoyed David Willis’s homemade bread last time. Cost is $2 per person.
- The Forerunners are going The Top of the River this Thursday. The bus will leave at 4:00 PM.
- There will be a Daughters of the King Tea Party this Saturday at 11:00 AM in the Activity Center. Mothers and daughters are invited.
- There is a wedding shower for Ashlin Dale, bride-elect of Joey Butterfield, this Sunday at 1:30 PM. They are registered at Amazon, Wal-Mart, and Greene’s Fine Antiques in Savannah.
- We will honor our high school graduates on Sunday, May 5, with a lunch after AM worship. Our graduates this year are: Valerie Butterfield, Charlotte Canaday, Cecily Davis, Amos Elliott, Colton Hopper, Lizzie Huffman, Daisy McManus, Hunter Mims, Chance Thompson, & Jagger Young.
